“Walk away quietly in any direction and taste the freedom of the mountaineer. Camp out among the grasses and gentians of glacial meadows, in craggy garden nooks full of nature’s darlings.” John Muir
Anyone who knows me, knows I bloody love a list! The nation’s top 100 walking hotspots were revealed on ITV’s ‘Britain’s Favourite Walks: Top 100’, And without even realising or knowing about the list (I was late to the party, I only watched it last month) I have almost completed the top ten in my first year as a hiker!! Something that makes me very happy. This is going to be a week of the list, broken down into 20’s so I can add my own pictures and link to my own blog post of each walk. These are just selfish blog posts so I can keep ticking them off and adding my experiences when completed! If you have done any of the walks or can recommend better walks please add them to the comments at the end, would love your input.
