Week 8 of 12! Training block of a woman who has

Week 8 of 12!

Training block of a woman who has booked too many races, works full time at a desk job, has too little time to train and who now wakes at 4.30am to try and move!

Races range from ultras, quadrathlon, 10ks to duathlons

Way's I moved my body in week eight.

Priority Week Eight = Strength Training Legs & Mental Health.

The week started strong, however by Thursday I was exhausted past pushing through so for the sake of my mental and physical health I decided that sleep had to be my priority and thats ok.

121 mins Stairmaster
60 mins Circuit Training
47 mins Full Body Strength Training

Average Sleep = 7hrs 10mins

Steps = 100,461

Now im a quarter of the way through my News Years

Now im a quarter of the way through my News Years Resolution, I should probably share it. Honestly it seemed like a good idea at the time.

My New Years Resolution was to run a 10k & Half Marathon every month for 12 months!

So far im on track and have all but one race in mind, struggling to find a half marathon in July that I can fit in with life.

January 10k = @runthroughuk Tatton Park
January Half = Delamere Forest
February 10k = @runthroughuk Heaton Park
February Half = @runthroughuk Media City
March 10k = @chester.marathon.half.10k.tri Chester
March Half = Liverpool

Im so lucky my family is supporting this, because this alone is taking up half the weekends in 2026 then add on other races I have booked, family commitments, friends, holidays and Scouts and thats all my weekends gone!

It does mean after each race it's home, shower & on with notmal life. So feeling incredibly lucky and even more so that I am doing a half in spain towards the end of the challenge.

Now fingers crossed I can complete it! And hopefully next month I will brave shorts!
