This friday makes 20 weeks until @gbultras Manches

This friday makes 20 weeks until @gbultras Manchester to Liverpool 50 Miler! And for the first time ever, I'm following an actual training plan!

Week 1 looked like -

M2L Training Week 1

2x Run Club Sessions
1x Park Run
1x Long Run
2x Strength Training Sessions
2x Swims (I have a couple of triathlons booked)
1x Yoga
Lots of dog walks

Im trusting the process & hopefully I will love the training!

Any tips on how not to die will be very much appreciated!

Chester Half Marathon in May
Chester Metric Marathon in October

My favourite races of the year, already signed up to next year's triple but with the full marathon. Completed the marathon in 2024 & DNF in 2025. So looking forward to doing it again (as much as you can look forward to running a marathon)

Although not fast, still very proud as its nearly been 3 years since I quit smoking after 25 years, any run I complete is a little well done to my lungs.
