Chester Half Marathon ✅️

Today was the first run I have loved in a couple of months, my only goal was to have fun & enjoying myself, which was going to plan until mile 7 when my headphones died (rookie mistake)

The weather was perfect, pace was good and atmosphere was electric!

And the cherry on the cake, nearly 7 mins quicker than last year!

I feel like i've spent the last 5 days catching up

I feel like i've spent the last 5 days catching up on sleep which has meant I've spent today catching up on housework & life (im not made for a life of sleep & chores)

Currently sat down with a brew wishing I was back in the woods and maybe booking a couple more races because I have a problem!

Literally couldn't get to a mile before I stopped for a little walk! Not ideal as I have Chester Half on Sunday, hoping it was just a bad session not a bad omen for Sunday!
