“A ship is safe in harbour, but that’s not what ships are for.”
― John A. Shedd
I am over the moon to announce that I am now a Not the Safe Route Ambassador. (Like really over the moon can’t stop smiling)
Everything Not the Safe Route sell is produced in the UK with a fair trade policy, from the cotton they use to the suppliers and packaging for orders it’s important for them to protect the environment that we all love so much, as a small business they are currently aiming for 100% sustainability through their products and suppliers in 2020.
They don’t just care about the environment, they also help support charities. Currently they donate £1 from every order to Climbers Against Cancer
As an ambassador, they will be helping me support The Marine Conservation Society which is the UK’s leading marine charity. Who work to ensure our seas are healthy, pollution-free and protected. Currently, they don’t have funding for North West England (all my nearest beaches) and I would love to help change that!
For 15% off Not The Safe Route use Emma15 at checkout. You will not only be supporting a small independent business but will also be helping support our beautiful seas.
Not the Safe Route will also be launching ‘Hike For Everyone’ very soon. It’s their new charity initiative. With the hopes of
1) Getting more people from all different backgrounds in the outdoors.
2) Liaising with different groups around the country to better understand what’s needed to achieve goal 1.
3) Create charity driven events to gain funds for organisations.
