“A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself — and especially to feel, or not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at any moment is fine with them. That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is.”
So last month me and this beautiful and intelligent lady celebrated one year of friendship and what a year it has been for both of us. We celebrated by having dinner at the place we met, haha who the hell needs a man. We drank wine, ate far too much and caught up on life. Sam is forever pushing me, knowing her has made me raise the bar on my self-worth she has taught me to stand up for myself in situations I would have been too scared to in the past. She has taught me I should be valued in the workplace and in relationships, she doesn’t sugar coat anything for me for which I am forever thankful.

So the place is The Stretton Fox, Warrington, if you are near the area I highly recommend stopping for something to eat, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is friendly.
She has also introduced me to a glass of wine, followed with a coffee, I feel like I am living my best grown-up life, add into that, that my coffee of choice is an espresso and I may as well be a woman that has her life together! the duo of pate was followed by pork belly with seasonal vegetables for my main course.
For dessert, I opted for Eton Mess my favourite go-to pudding. There is always room for dessert that’s what our second stomachs for, right? Very full, very happy (see cheesy smile below) and all caught up for another week. Heres to the next 12 months of friendship, hopefully, I will become a more stable person, I doubt it but we can hope, here’s to more adventures and even more food!
