If you have no idea what 80 days of summer is all about, then where have you been!? Don’t worry you can catch up here. But basically for 80 days, I am going to make sure I do something every single day that makes the most of summer, some things will be new some won’t. This challenge is to show that life is really made for living, no excuses, no wasting days! Just happiness every single day!
I would say Bumble BFF is by far the best thing that has happened to me so far this year the women I have met have just been utterly wonderful and really have become big parts of my life. Who knew that an app for meeting people might actually work! One of the lovely women I have met is Sam, she was one of the first way back in March (I can’t believe it has been so long already) we see each other a couple of times a month depending on schedules trying to fit another couple of times in a month at the moment.
We decided to visit 59 at the Hollies a beautiful restaurant which is part of the Hollies Farm Shop in Little Budworth, Cheshire.

A much-needed glass of wine, but I was a good girl and only had one small glass, can you really eat outside without wine?!
So we went with the attitude of go big or go home when it came to ordering! We pretty much ordered the same four courses, yep four courses!
Starting with salt and pepper halloumi with chilli jam, I mean if halloumi is on the menu you really can’t be not ordering it. Followed by garlic butter king prawns, whenever I see Sam it feels like we have so much to catch up on, we are pretty much at the same points in our lives so stories usually end up with why we are done with men and how we can build our own empires, you know the usual!
Isn’t she a beaut! I am so glad we got a picture together before we ate too much because seriously after everything we ate I rolled back to my car and took off my skirt for the drive home. Luckily I didn’t get pulled over, could you imagine. Now I think about it the last time I went out with Sam I ended up driving home bottomless, definitely see a pattern forming!
For the main course, I couldn’t resist the buttermilk chicken burger on cornbread, halfway through I thought my stomach was actually going to burst, I don’t think I have ever been so full in my whole life. Of course, there was room for dessert though, everyone knows we have two tummies, one for normal food and one for dessert. Pair that thinking with the idea that milk makes tummy ache disappear and ice cream is really just milk then eating ice cream is the perfect treatment for tummy ache. How I have not so much weight on recently is a damn mystery and one I am very thankful for.
The evening was perfect and the food utterly delicious, in fact, I would as far as saying it was some of the best food I have eaten this year. This certainly is not a gimmick the food tasted like it had literally been picked before serving. The tomatoes had that beautiful juicy greenhouse sweetness to them. I would not have changed one thing about the food nor the experience in fact. The staff were wonderful and helpful and the setting truly stunning, if you live within 90 minutes then its really worth the visit.
I love being able to eat outside it makes the whole dining experience so much more relaxed. The temperature was just right and the company was lovely, honestly if you haven’t tried Bumble BFF get your butt over to it now. Even if you think you have lots of friends already, the app allows you to connect with people who you may have lots in common with but would never get the chance to meet in real life.
Despite being the heaviest I have been in a few years I really do feel my utterly sexy, I am not sure if it just a cause of getting older but I feel so much sexier and womanly. And I am so much more confriedt naked which is something I never thought I would say.
