Top 10 inspirational quotes!

Who doesn’t love a good, inspirational quote? I, myself, am borderline obsessed. Just kidding. It’s much worse than that. I’d probably marry a quote if given the opportunity. That was a weird analogy. It’s too late now; let’s pretend like I never said that, k? But really, I love how deep a quote can cut […]

Who doesn’t love a good, inspirational quote? I, myself, am borderline obsessed. Just kidding. It’s much worse than that. I’d probably marry a quote if given the opportunity. That was a weird analogy. It’s too late now; let’s pretend like I never said that, k? But really, I love how deep a quote can cut you, uplift you, and inspire you. Some quotes have made me feel much less alone in the world — poetic reminders that others feel the same things as I do, deep down. Others are funny, dry, and rough — yet they still sting (in a good way) because they remind us of things we’re unable to voice ourselves. I thought I would keep things simple and share some of my favorites. Below, you can read some that have touched me lately. I’d also LOVE to know which ones mean something to you, too. Feel free to share them in the comments below!

“Sometimes you have to stop being scared and just go for it. Either it will work out, or it won’t. That’s life.”

“For what it’s worth: Its never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. And if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over.”

“Make choices that liberate you.”

“Fuck love? Nope, fuck the person who made you think like that.”

“Because this is my life. And that’s the only explanation you will ever need.”

“We call ships “she”. We call our war machines “women”. We compare women to black widows and wipers. And you’re going to tell me it’s not lady like to scream, to take up space, to fight and demand respect and do whatever the hell I want. You’ve looked nuclear bombs and been so in awe that you could only name after women. Don’t try to down play my power.”

“Theres no race, no religion, no class system, no colour, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else. We are all deserving of love.”

“Never be ashamed of how much my love, or how quickly you fall. Love fully, love completely but most importantly love naturally and don’t you ever apologise for it. Don’t ever be sorry for loving the way your heart knows.”

“Nobody really knows how much anyone else is hurting. We could be standing next to someone who is completely broken and we’d never know. So, be kind always. With yourself and others.”

“You are proof that a woman with a past can outgrow her mistakes.”
