Bryson city is a little far out from where I’m staying but I was told it would be worth the drive and it certainly was.
Situated in the Great Smokey mountains, Bryson city is a cute little town boasting cool little cafes and enough art galleries to cater for anybody’s taste.
The town was built around the Great Smokey mountains railroads and still runs daily excursions through the mountains.
The town is littered with train carriages, the Brit in me was super excited to see them. I still can’t believe in a country this big with hundreds of miles of abandoned railroads no one has thought to improve public transportation. If it wasn’t for me having access to a car I would have been stuck in the house.
Even the tourist office is beautiful here, I enjoyed sitting in a rocking chair watching the world go by with a ice cream, England is seriously lacking porches.
Supercow ice cream, how pretty is this? All vanilla but in my favourite colours.
Flowers lined the streets, giving the air a beautiful sweet smell.
This pretty river runs through the middle of the town, the area truly is beautiful and definitely worth the drive.I’m tickled pink you came.
